Jersey is a soft and stretchy cotton knit fabric that is usually made from a mix of cotton and synthetic fibres. It has one flat side and one pilled side. The elasticity allows for it to mould to the body for a closer fit. It is quite crease and wrinkle resistant.
Jersey is often used for making clothing such as t-shirts, dresses, tops and underwear.
