Aurifils 50wt is their most popular and most versatile cotton thread. Look for the iconic orange spool. This is the weight most people will use for patchwork piecing.
Great for patchwork piecing, english paper piecing, subtle quilting, dense quilting, topstitching, longarm quilting, hand piecing, bobbin and lace, hand applique, machine applique, machine embroibery and bobbin fill.
Also great for general sewing and dressmaking.
